Puppies were born by C-section at approximately 3:30 on June 18. This picture
was taken at 5:00 that evening.
Mom (Jenny) was not feeling great, but happy to be home.
June 24, 2001
Puppies are growing fast. Their noses are still pink and their eyes, still
closed, but the sound of their chatter is comforting.
Soundly sleeping, this pup is comforted by his sister.
Proud mother - taking care of her pups, giving us time to sleep. Thank
Goodness!
July 4, 2001 - Happy Independence Day
Gaining weight. Most pups are now over 2 lbs. 100 plus degrees outside. Ice
packs are in order.
Ahhhhhh!
Ready. Set. Go.
The pups are off and running.
And then ... Back to business as usual.

Ten puppies beginning to wear mom out ... Time to start weaning.
Hang on one second. Mom's milk is still #1.
